Mark your calendars for Spring Retreat for a fun weekend at the beach and powerful time of worship and teaching.  Our speakers are Alyn and AJ Jones from Grace Center in Franklin, TN.  The theme of the retreat is “Building Healthy Relationships.”  You’ll receive practical insight on dating, defining the relationship, as well as establishing good relationships with friends, co-workers, parents, etc.

Orientation Meeting for Conversational English Volunteers
We are holding a brief orientation meeting for those of you who signed up to be Conversational English Volunteers. The meeting is at 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, at The Loft. At the meeting, you’ll receive the contact info for your international students as well as some basic tips about your first meeting. If you have not already signed up, we are also looking for three more guys to serve. Thanks so much to everyone who signed up! We are excited about the impact you will have in the life of international students.

Our three weeks of prayer and fasting continues this week. Starting Sunday, January 29 our focus will be a media fast (tv, facebook, etc).

Wednesday Night Prayer and Worship

Come to the Garden Project!

Garden Project – This Weekend!

The Garden Project starts this Friday night at 7 p.m. Garden Project Weekends offer an opportunity for you to examine past hurts in your life and allow Jesus to bring freedom and healing.  As you receive more of God’s love and freedom, you will be more fully equipped to pursue the destiny He created you for. The GP Weekend will be held at the Loft on Friday night and Saturday.

Cost: $10 for the weekend

Session One: Friday, Jan 20, at 7 p.m.

Session Two: Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m.

Session Three: Saturday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m

21 Days to Gaze

Our three weeks of prayer and fasting continues.  Starting Sunday, we’ll be avoiding meats, sugar, and processed food similar to a Daniel fast.

Wednesday Night Prayer and Worship

During the three week fast, we’ll hold special prayer and worship nights on Wed. nights from 7-8.  The remaining Wed. night services are Jan. 25 and Feb. 1.

Meet with An International Student

We care about the international students in our city and want to serve them while they are here.  We are currently recruiting about five volunteers to serve as conversational English partners with an international student. Volunteers meet weekly or biweekly for one hour to help internationals improve their English skills. To sign up, contact Jeremy Darabaris, jdarabaris@gmail.com.

21 Days to Gaze

Campus Church begins three weeks of prayer and fasting this Sunday, Jan. 15.  Fasting is a great way to bring a fresh awareness of God’s work in our lives, both personally and as a church family.  Come on Sunday to learn more.

Christmas is Coming!

Christmas Party
Celebrate Christmas and the end of semester with the Campus Church Christmas Party tonight at 7 p.m. at The Loft.  Get dressed up and bring your favorite Christmas main dish, side, or dessert, so we can enjoy a wonderful meal together.  After dinner, we’ll enjoy live Christmas music from an amazing group of our own musicians.

Need a little help with food ideas?  Here are some easy suggestions:
-Go in with a few people to order a chicken finger platter, Louies, 502-5060
-Wings are always a hit, Willies 502-0012
-Honey Baked Ham, (they have small servings, you can go in with someone), 741-8411
-Veggie Tray
-Fruit salad
-Pick up a dessert like cookies, cakes, cupcakes, etc.

Extended Loft Hours for Finals

Come enjoy free coffee and study at The Loft during finals!  The Loft is open each weekday from 8:30-5 pm, as well as extended late night hours on Monday – Thursday night (7-11 each night, except Wednesday night 9-11).  The Loft is located at 129 S. College Street, Suite 5, above Tutti Frutti.

Mexico Christmas Donations
Sunday, December 11 we will be collecting toys and shoes to send to Mexico.  They should be new or in good, used condition.  Winchester Hagans and Harvest Evangelism will be filling a large truck to carry all donations during Christmas.  If you will not be here next Sunday, feel free to drop off your donations at the Loft.

Kim Hill will be performing a special Christmas concert at the church on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m.

SALT: Dec. 29 – Jan 1
Register for SALT.  You can pay the $89 registration fee now and pay for the hotel later.  We have a limited number of rooms available and would love to reserve a spot for you!  If you still need a room, contact Kelly Darabaris at kedarabaris@gmail.com.  The total room cost will be about $70/person.
