21 Days to Gaze
Our three weeks of prayer and fasting continues this week. Starting Sunday, January 29 our focus will be a media fast (tv, facebook, etc).

Wednesday Night Prayer and Worship
Join us for week three of our Wednesday night worship and prayer. The service is at the church at 7 pm on Wed., Feb. 1.

Diaper Shower for Justin and Beulah Criswell
Bless the Criswells as we celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby Daniel.  The shower will be at Josh and Ginger’s home from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, January 29. (5068 Lee Road 146, Opelika 36804, 334-821-8482)

Game Night, Feb. 3
Come to The Loft Friday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. for Game Night.  Bring a snack or drink to share.

Craft Day, Feb. 4
Get crafty and make your own Valentine cards Saturday, Feb. 4 from 2-4 p.m. at The Loft.  Bring supplies for your cards.

Open Mic Night, Feb. 10 
Open Mic Night is coming up again on Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. Enjoy free coffee and live music by local musicians at The Loft.  Musicians and artists sign up early to guarantee your spot. To sign up, email kellyflyart@gmail.com for a registration form.

Spring Beach Retreat, Feb. 17-19
Mark your calendars for Spring Retreat for a fun weekend at the beach and a powerful time of worship and teaching.  Our speakers are Alyn and AJ Jones from Grace Center in Franklin, TN.  The theme of the retreat is “Building Healthy Relationships.”  You’ll receive practical insight on dating, defining the relationship, as well as establishing good relationships with friends, co-workers, parents, etc.

Come to the Garden Project!

Garden Project – This Weekend!

The Garden Project starts this Friday night at 7 p.m. Garden Project Weekends offer an opportunity for you to examine past hurts in your life and allow Jesus to bring freedom and healing.  As you receive more of God’s love and freedom, you will be more fully equipped to pursue the destiny He created you for. The GP Weekend will be held at the Loft on Friday night and Saturday.

Cost: $10 for the weekend

Session One: Friday, Jan 20, at 7 p.m.

Session Two: Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m.

Session Three: Saturday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m

During the three week fast, we’ll hold special prayer and worship nights on Wed. nights from 7-8.  The remaining Wed. night services are Jan. 25 and Feb. 1.

Meet with An International Student

We care about the international students in our city and want to serve them while they are here.  We are currently recruiting about five volunteers to serve as conversational English partners with an international student. Volunteers meet weekly or biweekly for one hour to help internationals improve their English skills. To sign up, contact Jeremy Darabaris, jdarabaris@gmail.com.

Kicking off the New Year

New Marriage and Family Group Starts This Saturday, Jan 14
Join us for the kickoff of our marriage and family group this Saturday. 21 Days to Gaze

Campus Church begins three weeks of prayer and fasting this Sunday, Jan. 15.  Fasting is a great way to bring a fresh awareness of God’s work in our lives, both personally and as a church family.  Come on Sunday to learn more.

Christmas is Coming!

Christmas Party
Celebrate Christmas and the end of semester with the Campus Church Christmas Party tonight at 7 p.m. at The Loft.  Get dressed up and bring your favorite Christmas main dish, side, or dessert, so we can enjoy a wonderful meal together.  After dinner, we’ll enjoy live Christmas music from an amazing group of our own musicians.

Need a little help with food ideas?  Here are some easy suggestions:
-Go in with a few people to order a chicken finger platter, Louies, 502-5060
-Wings are always a hit, Willies 502-0012
-Honey Baked Ham, (they have small servings, you can go in with someone), 741-8411
-Veggie Tray
-Fruit salad
-Pick up a dessert like cookies, cakes, cupcakes, etc.

Extended Loft Hours for Finals

Come enjoy free coffee and study at The Loft during finals!  The Loft is open each weekday from 8:30-5 pm, as well as extended late night hours on Monday – Thursday night (7-11 each night, except Wednesday night 9-11).  The Loft is located at 129 S. College Street, Suite 5, above Tutti Frutti.

Mexico Christmas Donations
Sunday, December 11 we will be collecting toys and shoes to send to Mexico.  They should be new or in good, used condition.  Winchester Hagans and Harvest Evangelism will be filling a large truck to carry all donations during Christmas.  If you will not be here next Sunday, feel free to drop off your donations at the Loft.

Kim Hill will be performing a special Christmas concert at the church on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m.

SALT: Dec. 29 – Jan 1
Register for SALT.  You can pay the $89 registration fee now and pay for the hotel later.  We have a limited number of rooms available and would love to reserve a spot for you!  If you still need a room, contact Kelly Darabaris at kedarabaris@gmail.com.  The total room cost will be about $70/person.

Students from around the southeast will gather in Jacksonville, FL, for three days of powerful teaching and worship.  Cost is $89 for registration and $79/night for the hotel.  Visit www.southeastsalt.com for more info.

Register for SALT at church on Sunday.  You can pay the $89 fee then, and the hotel cost will be due when you get there.  The hotel cost is $68, if you have 4 people in a room.

Don’t miss our special guests this Sunday, Suzy and Kamran Yaraei.  Suzy co-led the MorningStar Music Department for over 10 years and has since produced four powerful worship albums.  Her experience in worship and the grace of God on her life to lead others into the presence of God is truly amazing.

Kamran is a former Muslim who gave his heart to Christ through a series of supernatural encounters and hearing the Gospel.  He has a passion for the people of God to deeply know the Love of God that he found in Jesus.  In combination with Suzy he too will be sharing powerful teaching that will unlock our hearts to better understand the Father’s love.

Saturday morning, Suzy and Kamran will be leading a worship workshop at the AU Chapel.  You don’t have to be a musician or worship leader to take part.  This is a unique opportunity for personal equipping with Suzy and Kamran. The workshop will be a combination of teaching, impartation and Q & A. Admission is Free! Workshop starts at 10 a.m. at the Campus Church facility, 440 North College Street.
